At Crossway Church we are deeply committed to the view that parents have the primary responsibility for the training of their sons and daughters. We believe that this responsibility does not stop with childhood, but continues through the teenage years. Our teenagers greatest need is to know the saving power of God and to grow as genuine disciples of Jesus Christ. To achieve this our pastors and parents both take an active role in the youth ministry at Crossway.
Here at Crossway Church we call our youth ministry "Doxa" . It's a greek word that means glory - our chief end is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. At the center of glorifying God is trusting in Christ Jesus for our salvation. Doxa meets an average of 4 times a month on Sunday Nights (see calendar) at 6pm. We provide group worship and bible teaching, discussion times and regular monthly activities. Once a year we sponsor a 4 day youth camp in the summer on our church property with a few other sister churches.
Doxa is open to all teens 7th grade to 12th grade and their parents.
To help parents lead their children across the bridge from childhood to mature, responsible, productive adulthood characterized by a wise and passionate love for the Lord.
