Prayer
Since our inception in 1982, our desire has been to recognize our absolute dependence on God for salvation and the Christian life. One of the most practical ways we do this it through prayer.
Besides the role of prayer in our Sunday meeting, there is a strong emphasis on prayer during our Caregroup meetings. Whether opening the meeting, closing the meeting or during spontaneous moments of personal ministry, you will find our Caregroups praying. Beyond the meeting times, members are often praying for one another. And, if there is an urgent need within the congregation, our Caregroups serve as prayer chains.
In addition, every Friday morning there are 3 men's prayer groups that meet to call on the name of the Lord. All men are welcome to join us at any of the following locations:
1. The Crossway Church office 318 Barbara Street, Millersville. 5:30-6:30am. Led by Don Garber.
2. Good 'N Plenty Restaurant Rt. 896, Smoketown. 5:30-6:30am. Led by Bill Haughery.
3. Family Fare Restaurant Rt. 72, East Petersburg. 5:30-6:30am. Led by Steve Erk.
